is being inactive just not being active in the field service?
or does it mean not attending meetings also?
for some reason i thought it only meant not going witnessing.. for instance, years ago i went to every meeting, but not on field service.
so would an inactive get shepherdings? I like to know how the sheep are being cared for. What when someone doesnt attending meeting for a number of years? I know a friend who hasnt been for 6years..wow and shes just gone to a new cong and she isnt sure if they will assess her before she does ministry or if she will need a study?

We didnt listen...lalala cant hear lol.... We made the choice and it was OUR choice not up to them, so rude i think. We always seem to have ones who think they can overall my hubby's position within the family, yet they wouldnt try it with other's (angel eyes flex's her muscles!! lol)

i ask this because when my hubby and i were getting our 2nd dog we had bro and sis's say we shouldnt have too many, wont have time for this, that etc...then we eventaully got 2more(making4) we do doggy dancing with them etc and they go crufts...but so many had to give opinions and say "NO" you shouldnt have anymore animals...yet we know a couple who have 5 kids!! bet they didnt say to that head of family NO more kids...

and yup its still the same...continue in the things learned. Elders all change when c/o visit too, they go all nasty, i recall an elder really going off the rails, i should have reported him for what he said to me but i didnt and when my hubby spoke to him about it he said "oh it was the c/o, its a very stressing time for elders, dont approach us the two weeks leading to the visit or the week of the visit"!!!!!!

yh c/o week is so false!!! everyone turns up at the meetings whom you've never seen before? then they vanish again when he has gone.
The answers are completely different, and everyone wants to do the school that week, plus its never a week where talks arent fulfilled!!!

as the gb/wt are always warning the dubs not to read apostate literature, and as the bible canon was decided by the church as late as the 4th century, by which time according to the wt they were absolutely apostate, should not jw's avoid the bible as we know it ?.
i know that they, the wtb$, have produced their own strange version, and that they ignore much of what is actually in even that,but how can they trust it when it comes from an "apostate " source according to them ?.
if they reply that they trust that " god had it preserved it as it should be " (apart from them having to put the name jehovah in many times without warrant, he couldn't manage to preserve that, what they claim is his name, as it "should be ") they are then saying that the 3rd/4th century church that had produced the trinity doctrine in a very full form by then was ,at that time, inspired by god.. if they disagree with that last statement ,where does it leave them in relation to the bible ?.
reading the bible helps you to draw closer to Jehovah, I also have the interliner bible....its great :)
Id always encourage people to read the bible and pray for understanding.

i MEANT good for some raised in the truth and not others raised in the truth...
as in, i know some raised in the truth who feel its the best, yet some on here say otherwise.
